Biography:
Growing up in Montreal, Quebec, the world of art and design captured my imagination from an early age. The idea that something as simple as colors and shapes could come together to create something beautiful and meaningful seemed very magical to me. This fascination with the creative process has always led me to pursue a career in the arts, and I went on to study Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Digital Art . After completing my education, I began my professional career as an illustrator. It wasn't long before my unique style and innovative approach began to gain recognition, and my work was soon featured in prestigious publications such as American Illustration, Communication Arts, and Catapult Magazine. These early successes opened the door to a wide range of opportunities in various industries, including advertising, publishing, and entertainment. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with a diverse range of nationally and internationally recognized clients. From designing graphics and concepts for video games to creating murals for theme parks, my work has spanned across various mediums and industries. I have been commissioned by prominent publications such as Sports Illustrated, The Atlantic Monthly, Forbes, BusinessWeek, and Time Magazine, among others. I have also had the opportunity to work collaboratively on the design of sculptures and props for the Beijing Cube Water Park, which won a WWA Industry Innovation Award. One of my most notable achievements was collaborating on the design of the Dollywood Mystery Mine in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, which won the Theme Park Insider Award for Best New Attraction of the Year. This project allowed me to showcase my creative abilities on a grand scale, working alongside a team of talented individuals to create an immersive and unforgettable experience for visitors. Despite these accomplishments, I never lost sight of my passion for fine art. Over the years, I have continued to explore and push the boundaries of my artistic abilities, always seeking to create unique and thought-provoking pieces that challenge the status quo and offer a fresh perspective on the world around us. Currently residing in Orillia, Ontario, I find myself constantly inspired by the natural beauty and cultural richness of my surroundings. Whether working on a new project or simply enjoying the outdoors, I strive to infuse my work with the same sense of wonder and creativity that has fueled my career for over 30 years. |
