Artist Statement

My work has always assembled many characteristics of visionary and conceptual realism capturing the occurrence of emotional commotion in human life.  I find myself immersed in the realm of consciousness and mystique, which to me are one and the same.  In much the same way as meditation and prayer eventually lead to psychological and spiritual experiences that transform one's self into new enigmatic paradox.
My inspirations are first and foremost everything I see, sense and experience. Instinctive mind impression of the senses, Fantastic Realism, Modernist, Pop-Culture and Film Noir are amongst some of my inspirations.  I never limit myself to mimicking reality but will interpret the emotional and psychological mental condition of individuals in society.  By interpreting the emotional inner psyche in a fitting representation, I’m able to cross the hypocritical disguise that all humans so religiously protect and hide behind making my work honest and closer to reality.
